Victoria beamed with excitement as she made her entrance, the orchestral music swelling about her. “At the time I was madly in love with Clare,” explained Gary, reminiscing on how he had sweated profusely through their date to see ‘Legends of the Fall.’ He went on to recount how they had reconnected many years later after his adolescent attempts to woo her had failed.

The sun continued to beat down upon the garden, bouncing off the cream washed walls of the ancient manor house. Four generations of Joneses inflated the level of conversation whilst groups of men stood around chatting and people compared pictures they’d taken on the backs of their cameras.

The solemn words they uttered as they exchanged rings could not temper their smiles, which seemed to grow incrementally as they attested to the sign of their marriage that their rings represented and promised to honour each other with their bodies, give all that they were to one another and share all that they had.
