You know how fervently I believe in commissioning wedding suppliers who are at the forefront of their field and that's why I implore you not to miss out on this fantastic opportunity. It's very rare to get so much talent in one place, offering their advice and help and tips for the coming wedding season. It's basically a one-stop wedding shop!

I'll be back with a new wedding report to show you and hopefully before long news of a variety of developments around here. But in the meantime, if you feel like things are a bit quiet and you're missing your fix of The Wedding Reporter, go pick up your favourite book and get lost in the words. That's what I'm doing.

After completing 5 weddings in 10 days and feeling like I needed to sleep for 2 weeks, the evidence was clear: I needed to get a sidekick.

It may be 4 inches to you, but to me it's a whole tale of blood, sweat and tears and it's the reason that I have a very big smile on my face this week.

The launch of The Wedding Reporter Version 2.0 today comes after a year of one of the most fruitful collaborations I've ever had the pleasure to be part of. Recruiting Leah Spicer to make my words look good has flourished into a partnership that, quite frankly, I'd be lost without. She translates my incoherent thoughts into tangible ideas, never baulks at my more ridiculous suggestions and 'gets' The Wedding Reporter in a way that I was beginning to think impossible.

It took an hour for my lightbulb moment to come to fruition... It's taken a little longer for my business to flourish and now here I am, with a year of being in business tucked under my belt .Every single one of the last 368 days has been a learning curve that I have thoroughly relished. I'd estimate that in the last year I've penned over 60,000 words on weddings alone.

From: The Wedding Reporter To: Cloggins Date: 5 December 2011 Subject: 2 Month Review Please note that in the current financial climate, we do not have the budget for the website equivalent of jazz hands, so stop wasting your time sketching out your ideas for an ultimate design overhaul and make do with the perfectly pleasant website that Wordpress has provided. Thank you for continuing to raise brand awareness through social media but do try to keep the cat pictures to a minimum and stay on message. Remember: we want to attract dynamic pocket rocket girls who believe in their own sense of style and want is preserved for posterity in a wedding report. Although 8 bookings are in the diary for 2012, we would like to see this increased, particularly in the months of March and April.
