I recently looked at all the tweets I've favourited and it was an amazing chronicle of the process in setting up this business. The support I've received from a community of people who I have hardly ever met is just overwhelming.

Thank you for continuing to raise brand awareness through social media but do try to keep the cat pictures to a minimum and stay on message. Remember: we want to attract dynamic pocket rocket girls who believe in their own sense of style and want is preserved for posterity in a wedding report. Although 8 bookings are in the diary for 2012, we would like to see this increased, particularly in the months of March and April.

Tell your friends and family to buy them for you or ask your engaged friends if they would appreciate a contribution towards the cost of their wedding report. Today I am pursuing what has always been my biggest driving force and my constant companion: my imagination. Today I step into the world of self-employment, earning a living from writing and devoting my time to The Wedding Reporter and all that it entails. Never has such a momentous decision felt so good. I can't wait to show you what I'm capable of.
