A brief but vital missive from Wedding Reporter HQ this morning: your help is much needed. Leah Spicer, the creative genius behind our beautiful wedding reports, who also masterminded this blog, the main website, all our marketing material and a small slice of our imaginations, has been shortlisted for a superlative industry award. We need YOU to vote!
Leah’s wedding stationery company, Golden Apple Designs, has been named as a finalist amongst 9 other national businesses for the 2012 Breakthrough Awards organised by hitched.co.uk. These awards aim to recognise fantastic emerging talent in the wedding industry and also covers florists, hairdressers and cake designers. 
Golden Apple is the reason that Leah first became embroiled in The Wedding Reporter antics, with her range of contemporary, cute and beautiful wedding stationery capturing our imagination. From hand-drawn illustrations to quirky, cool typography, the Golden Apple range has an unparalleled style that appeals to modern brides and romantic souls alike.
Aside from the beauty of her products, Leah’s work ethic and commitment to her clients is also worthy of a mention. Long after my eyes have gone cross-eyed in the wee hours, Leah is still ploughing on! Her excitement at getting messages of thanks from her brides and grooms is indicative of how heavily invested she is in their celebration and is the reason why she goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure their wedding stationery is nothing short of perfect.
